Apparently I attrack men who work in the food industry. Or maybe it's because I interact with them more than any other males. The cook at the dome offered to make me a meal, and though it was a sandwich, it was delicious. We talked for quite a while and I found out he his first love is music, but he found his second love in becoming a pastry chef. He has a lot of potential and really cute. The second I worked with tonight, we talked about the book Outliers and he stayed longer than necessary. He was pretty cute too, just in a different way.
LOL and another cook pointed out, while we were restocking the suites, that an older gentleman scanned my front and when we passed him he turned around. I had no idea.
The bigger point of this entry was that I had the opportunity to host for a client this week. They were a group of wonderful women, and truly a pleasure to work with. I hope to experience this sense of accomplishment and satisfaction in my future career.
I also went shopping today and after trying on 8 pairs of pants, finally found two that fit my waist-hip-thigh ratio perfectly. Why so many pants? Because my assistant came up to me and asked if she could help. I told her I was looking for black pants for work and my size ranges. She grabbed 16 pairs of pants and hung them up for me. She also stuck around to give an opinion and take back all the things I didn't need. My mother found 3 tops that work really well, and my lovely assistant recommended a great top and vest. Then we decided, oh what the hell, and bought some necklaces too.
I still need a purse though.
Well, off to bed as I'm volunteering at the book fair tomorrow, then work. I'm excited that I won't have to work on Saturday, which means decent time to hang out on Friday. Yay!

Well, started my new job. I had a lot of training, but I am definetly a gear in the system of this company. It seems like a lot of data entry, but she is also hoping I take initiative to have things run smoothly. Apparently there has been alot of change (good for me since it got me the job) but the air hasn't cleared and not everyone knows what they should be doing. I will be working Mon-Thurs 9-3 and Friday 3-9. Because I took these hours, I got a dollar raise. I am slightly dissapointed, because it severly limits my role in any theatre company.
I'm actually considering volunteering at Kennedy to just work on light maintenance on Fridays. And I really want to take a class at Normandale. Yes, I know I am filling up my schedule again, but I just feel like I can handle it and it's things I like.
Better get ready for work.

Someone is calling my house... and I'm not near a phone.
My birthday has been wonderful so far!!! :)
I asked Kaytlyn if she would participate in my tradition of staying up til midnight the night before my birthday. She brought me over to Nik's (a very sweet individual) and we played Monopoly. I was kicking ass, as I owned the most expensive side of the board. Close to midnight, Nik said she would sing a song to me for my birthday if I went to get the guitar out of her trunk. I was kind of surprised by the request, but took her keys.
When I got back, Nik asked me what song I would like to hear while Kaytlyn had gone missing. While we were discussing music, Kaytlyn came out with this little brownie dish and somehow magically got all 23 candles lit. They started to sing happy birthday, but the candles had leaned up against each other creating a large flame so I blew it out quickly. I was handed a sweet card and listened to some beautiful songs.
Nik had to get up early, so Kaytlyn and I headed back to her house. We had planned on a movie, but instead "popcorned" my astrology sign. The sex section was ridiculously long. We had some great laughs and fell asleep to a movie. Now I am back home, and instead of showering, I'm writing this entry.
I have to go though, my bestie has informed my mother that she is kidnapping me at noon for more surprises. I'll keep you updated.

I am so happy, I can't put my thoughts into words. Hopefully later.

I wasn't expecting such a huge turn out, but it was a really fun night on Friday. I had a great time, even if I didn't quite look like it at the end. I wasn't feeling well, turns out my body is attempting to continue the life cycle but without my birth control... Still, I'm glad I went out.
My best friend's brother had the most amazing wedding. The Ceremony was beautiful, and very genuine. They picked all the readings and traditions. The reception was fun too, I've never seen a groom sweep his bride off her feet so many times.
Now I'm full from Noodles, and trying to decide wheter I should pack, shower, sleep, or do homework all before 5.
Sleep is seriously calling my name. Time for a nap.

If I had to choose between a good conversation and good sex, I wouldn't make the decision lightly.
Today, I didn't have to choose. The power went out at three of our buildings, cancelling my class and freeing up some wonderful theatre people for conversation.
I felt so good afterwards, I wanted a smoke and a nap.
Last amazing conversation I had? Wow, it was Dukart's freshman year, so my second. Dukart went to bed, but Paul, Austin, a gal pal of theirs and I had an amazing discussion. I fell asleep with a smile on my face.

So after breathing (as in poly and paint fumes), eating (or more not eating for more time,) and sleeping (dreaming every night) this project, I am super excited to be done.
And as a reward for my exceptionally good work, I am going shopping with my adorable DisCo for sexy clothes.
And deciding what I am going to do with the 3 sexy men who want to spend some time with me this weekend.

Look at me! I am updating.
I've been wanting to all week, just been busy.
I have relaxed, worked on cleaning up my room, and hung out with friends.
This New Years party rocked. We had really good food, good booze, and fun games. We played the naughty word game, things..., and talked. I ended up sleeping between Brian and Matt. Yes, you should be jealous. It was nice to get caught up on all my testosterone.
My break is almost to an end though, and I need to start back at school again. I don't want to think about it.
Gonna watch a movie with the family now.
